This website is the sole property of Cynthia Long, who, along with her cat Miss Mitty, lives and works in the Pacific Northwest.

I am a Pacific Northwest native. I am a textile artist, embroiderer, clothier, costumer, and weaver who sees magic and change in the chain stitch and a well done Palestrina knot. I wish I had more control over the ways of the human world but alas, all I can control are my actions and my attitude in life and the consistency of my stitches. And sometimes even that doesn't pan out as hoped and I must rip rip rip.

I am pagan, a dyed in the wool pagan, a witch even, initiated into the branch of Traditional British Witchcraft known as Kingstone. Thankfully I grew up in a home that believed that freedom of religion, thought, and action was integral to a happy human being. Go us!

I am a sober witch too. My sobriety birthday is July 3, 1995. On November 11, 1997 I quit smoking. Who would have thought that the walking dead could rise and really live again? I am so very grateful to be alive, that I grabbed onto the hand extended to me by the Universe.
